Everything our sex therapist does aims to help you achieve a higher level of sexual satisfaction; sex therapy aims to improve, maintain or restore sexual health of the individual or the couple. Our clinical sexologist works with a diverse clientele, ranging from teenagers to seniors.

The sessions can take place individually or as a couple. The duration of the intervention will vary according to the type of issue presented, the therapeutic objectives that are set and your motivation. What is sex therapy?

Several reasons can bring someone to seek services from a clinical sexologist. Here are some examples:

  • Sexual difficulties (Erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, decreased sexual desire/libido, painful penetration, orgasmic dysfunction, aversion for sexuality, sexual abuse, disturbing sexual fantasies, porn addiction, gender identity, sexual orientation)
  • Relational and emotional difficulties (Emotional dependency, jealousy, infidelity, intimacy/communication/seduction, body image, performance anxiety, lack of confidence or self-esteem, separation, divorce)
  • Health-related sexual difficulties (Pregnancy, infertility, menopause, andropause, handicap, sexual impact of STIs (sexually transmitted infections), diseases (or gynecological or urologic problems)
  • Atypical sexuality (Fetishism, voyeurism, exhibitionism, sexual compulsion)

The clinical sexologist will provide you with a secure environment where your sexual and emotional intimacy can be explored. The process will  be greatly facilitated by the clinician’s empathy, clinical skills and of comfort in addressing and discussing sexual issues.
