Continuing education

Medipsy offers continuing education activities designed to improve your clinical practice. These workshops are offered in Montreal and are practitioner-oriented, with a focus on improving assessment and treatment skills. Presenters are skilled communicators chosen for their in-depth knowledge of how to translate the latest research-based practices into the clinical situation. Whether you are interested in empirically-based treatment modalities, in how to monitor your clients or patients to improve outcomes or treat specific disorders, in the most up to date diagnostic or assessment procedures, or in effective practice management, Medipsy has training for you. 

We understand that dedicating a day to training and continuing education means not spending time developing your practice or seeing your clients and patients. Continuing education should not be a burden; it should be an opportunity to learn from the best but also to meet colleagues, old and new, and to build your network. We thrive to make this happen, in a pleasant and charming environment with excellent meals. And frankly, we are quite good at it. Don't forget Medipsy specializes in bringing speakers who are internationally known, the clinicians whose books you read and whose methods, techniques and perspective you value. 

Our workshops are offered in Montreal. These continuing education activities generally have CEU (continuing education unit) credits with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec, the CCPA, or another organisation (please refer to course description). Your hours of continuing education with Medipsy count toward meeting the CE requirements of Bill 21. 

In addition to the continuing education workshops we offer in Montreal, Medipsy also offers basic training designed specifically for individuals wishing to obtain a psychotherapy permit to practice in Quebec, as per the requirements of Bill 21.
